Almost everyone I meet is afraid of becoming a burden to their family. I work with those people to custom design a financial roadmap to avoid becoming a burden before, during, and especially at the end of retirement.
This is especially true for newly single adults, contemplating a "new" set of circumstances for which they had not planned. Working with me means having a guide to help you clarify, organize, and prioritize your financial life decisions.
I do my best work with:
- A recent (or soon to be) divorcee, widow or widower OR
- Couples within 5 years of retirement with “different” money management skills, interest or approach OR
- Couples where one spouse handled all the money decisions and can no longer be relied on due to illness or death.
AND
- All your assets (real estate, investments, retirement etc.) total a million or more.
- It’s important to you to maximize the amount of wealth that passes to your family/charity rather than to the IRS or a nursing home.
- You are comfortable paying a flat fee, covering planning AND investment management
We start with an Initial Financial Life Planning consisting of
Goal identification, Cash flow analysis, Income tax review, Education/Other goal(s) funding, Risk management, Proactive Aging Plan (aka: Retirement), Debt management, Estate planning, Investment risk tolerance assessment, Current portfolio risk and fee analysis.
The deliverable is an implementation checklist supported by analysis.
The flat fee for this initial plan is $5,000.
If we decide to continue working into the future to maintain momentum in accomplishing your goals the ongoing fees are as follows:
- If your total assets excluding primary home are less than $2.5 million, the flat fee is $10,200. If your total assets excluding primary home are over $2.5 million, the flat fee is $20,400.
- I do not work for an insurance company or investment firm. It’s just me and you. In fact, I will put in writing that I am a fiduciary and will put your interests first.
